League 2 Pub Watch - Oxford

The Priory stands in the shadows of the Kassam Stadium.....

A beautiful building that suffers from its environs and lack of investment.

With the omnipresence of mounted police, police vans and cars.....well, simply loads of police, it is certainly a pretty safe place for the travelling supporter.

The Last Word

The cask beer is excellent, the home fans are welcoming and the food is ok. The toilets are best avoided and if you want a seat arrive by 1230hrs.....

It suffers from its customers? What an unpleasant commentgiven the efforts that the pub and the regulars always make to invite decent fans from other teams and talk to them. In fact it was this pub and its punters that raised thousands of pounds last year for a terminally ill little girl from Accrington Stanley to go to Lapland and on a Disney cruise. Given that some Aldershot fans turned up last year and tried to initiate a brawl at what is not a 'lads pub' and Aldershot fans were still invited back this year, I find your comments somewhat uncharitable.
